poster development
The poster development started off getting an image during a football match. That image was going to work as the background for the poster.

With the use of the rectangle tool in image 2, I used it as page divider in use it could split the text from each other. Research into poster showed me that it was very important for text to spaced out equally across the page.

I managed to download a suitable text for my poster from the website www.dafont.com . I picked the obelix pro text.

Image 5, the chelsea logo had a white background and i had to cut the white background out using the cutting tool and after that was done it was placed in the bottom right corner to make it look an official chelsea fc poster.
Book cover development

Baring in mind the next project was a book cover, i had to ensure the measurements were accurate in terms of making the cover a rectangular shape as seen in image 2.

After getting the above image off the internet, I copied and pasted the image as my background. The next step was to remove the padlock which is seen in image 3 so editing could take place.

With the use of the rectangle tool in image 4, I created the white diagonal line which is seen in image 5. The text was then added but as the research showed me, the title font size is different to the author font size.

Logo Development
< image 1
The logo project started off with using the custom shape tool (image 1) in order to get access to circle tool with is in image 2 (row 3).
<image 3
After creating the wider out circle, the next step was duplicate the same circle and use the free transformation button with is found under the edit column, to make the duplicated circle into the smaller inner circle with is seen in image 3.
The white diagonal lines seen in image 3 was created through using the rectangle tool which is seen in image 1 and from there, it was duplicated and with the help of the free transformation tool to place them in diagonal positions desired.

To give the logo that cutting edge, the filter gallery was used to give it the gradient look you see in image 5.

For the stickmen, using the photoshop cutting tool, the white background was removed and i duplicated it in each of positions you see in image 7.
Poster research
Colours and backgrounds should be subtle. Colour should highlight, separate, define and associate information. E.g. in the above poster, the main colours are yellow, grey and white so i realised posters are pretty strict with its use of minimum three colours. The use of one type of font is another thing which posters really try to stick to. The main image of the poster has to fill the whole background without the image being stretched.
